The IntelMark AS-N is a rugged, reliable, and effective answer to steel marking requirements. It creates clear, easy-to-read marking on the steel.

The IntelMark AS-N operates 100% unassisted, requiring only occasional tags refilling and maintenance. It was designed to operate in line, in the extremely harsh and unfriendly environment of slab casting and finishing lines. Because of its small base and long reach, it can be placed virtually anywhere. It is particularly suitable for installation in existing lines, where usually no modifications of the layout are required.

The system can mark both cold and hot steel, with a temperature be marked surface up to 1200 ° C

The IntelMark AS-N can be installed any place where the slab is available in necessary position for the duration of the marking cycle. Simple and easy to implement interfaces are supplied to connect the marking machine to existing Level 2 automation systems. However, the IntelMark AS-N can also be used as a stand-alone system.

A wide range of communication interfaces allows easy integrating the marking machine with the enterprise information system and receiving the appropriate marking information in real time.

For tag attaching, the IntelMark AS-N use a nailing technique. Tag attached to the slab’s surface by specially formed steel nail hammered onto slab. To perform nailing, the nail is pierced through the tag and then the nail is pressed up against the slab. The nail is then hammered to the slab’s surface by pneumatic hammer. The head on the nail then captures the tag preventing its removal from the slab's surface.

This method of tag attaching due to the using of the nail allow us to attach the tag even to the rough, uneven and scaled surface what typical for slabs after heating.
